No actually i was a bit busy few days, also had fever of sorts.
Anyway not NOU actually , in Communications.
BTW I am looking for a good CISCO CCSP - Security instructor, if anyone can recommend someone or some institute in Riyadh, Please do but i really mean a GOOD one.
Communications is actually the IT department, NOU is working side by side but it headed by a different HEAD :p lol

as of my knowledge, communication is under CSD
any other communication unit? i don't know
anyhow, CCIE security would be better than going for ccsp
DS, i am planning CCIE security , but to make a strong base knowlegde i am planning to do CCSP first.
SaQiB,
Yeah, CCIE Security/Voice are the way to go
I have some cool documents for CCIE security... I will prepare some for you soon inshallah

I have reached chapter 7... the Network Security Policies, Vulnerabilities, and Protection using CCIE Security Exam Certification Guide by Henry Benjamin 2005
unfortunately, I had a change of heart! so Inshallah I'll be starting my MBA soon instead
but I have tired creating a network virtual lab using Dynamips which was so much fun!
Thanks DS, i shall check those links today when i am home.
Nauman hello, welcome to the forum. What are you doing here in KSA? where do you stand currently in the cisco career?
Well i am planning to go to Islamabad to study CCSP followed by CCIE sec Insha ALlah this Feb 2010.
Thanks Saqib.
I M doing JOb here
Cisco Career - hmmm - i m CCNA - 1/2 CCNP - CCSP - CCIE R & S
now planing to do CCIE Security.
Best of luck for your training back Home
Study hard
Alright! MashaAllah thats good nauman. regarding training centres in ISB , you have any recommendations?
Yeah, I will be doing MBA not CCIE Sec. but I'll do CISSP instead of CCIEs
I am into the MBA and Risk Management more than being technical.
Are you aware of CISSP? do not Google it
CISSP is awesome, but it requires experienced specialist to be a valid certification

I only Know about Lahore.
lahore main ja nahi raha, wahan saray rishtadar hain
Translation : i wont be going to lahore, as all my relatives are there
Btw any idea how much CCSP training costs in lahore? which institutes?
In Lahore there are 2 famous one
Corvit & NETS
fee's idea ~ 20-25 K
corvit also have a branch in ISB - dunno what they offer there
SaQiB wrote:CISSP is awesome, but it requires experienced specialist to be a valid certification
Well, you need have the precaution mindset to pass it. In other words, have a preventative measures to allow the availability of something
CISSP is more like Management related
a Hawk Eye on all aspects of Security .
where as CCIE Security is more on the Technical side of how to configure security on Cisco Device ( ASA - IPS - VPN's - ACS )
Good documents

do you have a high speed internet connection?
if you do, I would recommend you to download (torrent) them because mine are not organized which is the reason why I am being lazy to upload them http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=computer+books
Its all about relevant updated study....
if you really want to study online
Cisco's Online DOC CD is a big resource - which they keep on updating
You can Download so much from the Torrents and shared stuff - but to find the right stuff at the right time is in the best .
so study hard and be evil : As Scott Says
exambraindumps.com/categories.html - It is good for simulation q&a. I prepared with it and passed my Microsoft successfully.
