Has anyone had experience with this kind of heater?

Toon

I have seen them demonstrated here in malta and the heat output is high. Unfortunately the heaters themselves are mega expansive here (no surprise.) But if one can find a shipper they are very cheap in Poland. here nearly 300 euros and then some....but you can buy the equivalent in Poland for 80-100 euros....and even if it costs 100euros to ship its still worth it....theyre fluelesss mokeless odourless no aash or chimney, and the fuel is quite cheap abut 10euros for 5 litres. the tanks are about 1.5 litres and will last (depending on flame settings) between 1hr and 9hrs.

Thanks Toon. Investigating bringing from the UK

Where does one buy the fuel from?

Toon

THERE ARE A FEW OUTLETS

The one i know about is in san gwanne - wise living, eukaliptus street i think - who also sell the fires at extortionate prices.but the fuel is reasonable.

lambada

OK Thanks.

The heaters seem to be quite expensive in the UK too as most of them seem to serve a decorative purpose although I didn't search extensively.

Toon

try ordering one from kratki in poland as they will deliver to UK at very reasonable rates and bring it with you

kratki are on ebay too

theres also a german company who do the delivery to uk as well cant remember there name tho

Toon

having seen the demo i would go for the controllable flame version - the one with the sliding top - not the three or four ssperate cans.

Not going to the UK anytime soon :)
