Does your company provide accommodation for you Mike, and if so will it be furnished ?. Only been here a week myself, but took extra luggage with me to last the three months I expect to be here before my lovely wife arrives. I am in a hotel for the first 2-3 weeks then into a fully furnished (or so I am told) apartment. DHL ships to Tripoli, but it is very expensive, my wife did most if not all of the background checks, so apologies that I can't help more.

well its always advisable to bring a few things when you are moving but everything is available and not that really expensive. traveling light has always been a delight for me.
