Hello everyone!

I need some information regarding Visit Visa and Tourist Visa....

I have heard that tourist visa can't be converted into residence visa if u get job in UAE where as Visit Visa can be converted in residence (without exiting from UAE).

Can you please guide me abt that and tourist visa can be converted into resident visa after payment of some charges by prospective employer...

Even visit. My friend was on a family visit (sponsored by his father who was at that time a resident) and when he got his job, he had an option of paying 1200 AED OR leaving and coming back.

Generally it is true that tourist visa cannot be used to change to employment visa, without exiting the country.  The rule if strictly applied, goes for visit visa also.  If your prospective employer gets the visit visa for you, this could be easier.  In any case, exiting the country and re-entering is not such a big issue.  Many persons have just gone to the nearest country and got back, if required to do so.  You should not worry about this matter too much, your employer should normally be able to solve this for you.

Hello, as of today, both visit visa and tourist visa can be converted into working visa. The difference is when you have tourist visa, you have to go for exit when your visa expired. Visit visa is transferable. Cheers!

There are two types of visas and they are transferable and non transferable. Look at your visa page, if it is mentioned as transferrable, your employer can transfer it by paying an endorsement fee. Or else you need to exit. It doesn't mean you need to go back to your country, but there should be an exit stamp on your passport.
