Are all saher camera on those posts in Jeddah?  I've heard they've put them in blue garbage bins.  Where along Medina road are they?

Yeah ,just saw one of the  "garbage bins" ones, but it was white bin only last week in Malik Road.

some in garbage bins and some in the back of an SUV, so the mobilized cams are really hard to predict. I fhave a smart phone and if you have a data plan then download an app called trapster it's useful

In garbage bins?!?!  You gotta be kidding me!  I thought I was getting from all those expensive speeding tickets when I left the US...man, this is gonna haunt me.

Quick, dumb question: Are these the same bands (X, K, Ka, Ku) tracked by radar detectors sold in the US?

Mesam80

Unfortunately the radar detectors don't work here in Saudi but they are handy if the police are using speed guns. I had the beltronics g 65 with GPS support which was working great in Canada but I brought to Jeddah and no use. It is the same issue in North America where the speed cameras can't be detected unless you have the GPS coordinates which are available through database subscriptions through beltronics and other companies maybe

The stores in Canada had a clear spray that could be sprayed on the plates and would make a reflection but I haven't tried it

the spray doesnt work

saw 4 saher trucks on teh way to work here in riyadh.  its getting redic
