well i'm an Algerian student i am  planing  to Be in iceland next year
however i need to get some informatoin about health inasurence and .........

Just wondering if I am obliged to have a health inasurence from an icelandic company so the Student residence permit application will be procceded or i can just let it apart

it would be  a great plaisir if i can get in direct contact with icelandic person or Anybody who is living in iceland

I didn't apply for a student visa but when I applied for my work/residence permit it was required. You're not covered by the national health care from the get-go.

the school you'll be studying at should be better able to help you though, and a few threads down on this form is more information on insurance providers.

Now i'm about to apply for the student visa cause that's what i need here

well i have only one more probleme wich is the housing one i didn't find any house yet to rent
can You help me or guide me for a simple room for a student

one more thing i would really be so happy if i can chat with you
i speak both English and french and some spanish hope we can do so
