Help on working in Abu Dhabi and cost of living

Post new topic

bevporter

Hi
I am away for an interview for ADNOC as a cost engineer..their package is as follows should i be successful.

6500 USD per month plus chance of overtime
Housing and utility cost paid by company
Medical Insurance paid by company
Schooling paid by company
35 days holidays per year

I am married with a boy aged 7 years. My husband currently works offshore in the UK and would travel back and forth until such times he can secure a post in UAE (the agent advises me that he may get a job with ADNOC also because he works in drilling).
Agent also said that because its the Government I would be working for then the quality of property etc will be excellent.
Help cause im stuck!!

Hello bevporter,

Sounds like a good offer to me :)

Good luck!

Have you been thru ? The offer is par excellence ! And, if your hubby too starts working similar, you would be able to buy a Rolls Royace ! -:)

Darky

sounds good)) try it))

Beware...

ADNOC have a hire-and-fire culture.

If you don't fit in, then you're a** is grass and you're out. Unless you've worked here before, just make sure that you understand what you're letting yourself in for!

The salary by the way, is nothing special.
