It is interesting to note the announcement from the government yesterday.
According to Hồ Quang Lợi, the head of the Propaganda department in Hanoi, the city has employed 900 professional opinion makers on the internet to engage in "opinion war" against "reactive forces". So far, they have engaged in 19 forums using 400 usernames.

Just wonder when those professionals will get to the expat-blog forum?
Wait, maybe they are already here. You know, the guy living in Can Tho claiming he has dual citizenship, wears black hat and sunglass and constantly spews out nonsense . Yep, it all makes sense now.
Hey...Maybe that Meadow20122 guy from the other thread was one of those. Trying to "bait" us to see if we would all jump on his bandwagon of hate.
Saigonmonkey
That is a good one. Thinking about it, I suspect that it was Wild_1 doing a double-duty as Meadow20122, wait, triple duty since he also signed using my name as well. Good job, Howie, hope that you will soon be promoted to be the head of the Propaganda dept.
Just another thing I hope you notice: 900 is for Hanoi alone. God knows how many professional internet propagandists they have for the entire country!

Well - he FAILED COMPLETELY and only showed the 'average' member on this site either can't be bothered responding such dribble.
OR was asked, VERY POLITELY by some of us, to do everyone including himself a several big favors - leave the country ASAP, seek medical / mental attention for his condition and go back to pre-school to learn how to spell and construct sentences correctly.

Sorry Dear Lady,
we missed part of your last statement.
Could you please try to speak more clearly and a little more directly towards the microphone ?
We thank you for your future co-operation.

Your disrespect toward government official pronouncements are now unduly noted by Wild_1. It is an indication of some hostile, outside, capitalist forces standing behind you. The government will herewith begin to trace all your IP activities to make your actions are in compliance with the Vietnamese government regulations.
Scared now? .

Hi Anatta,
let me think for a bit - - - - - - - - - - - - - MMMMMMM ???
"Scared now ? " - - - NOPE ! Sorry - not a bit.
It's those very 'outside, capitalist forces' - ie western governments of the 'free' world, with all their undeclared / secret agendas and disinformation outputs that worry me the most !
As they said in the TV series 'The X Files' - " THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE ! TRUST NOBODY !"
(field strips, cleans, reassembles, checks function, loads and carefully puts out of sight but within easy reach, my customized Colt .45 Model 1911 'Combat Special')
Any other questions ?
Now to go back to watching the football ! Green Bay Packers verses the Minnesota Vikings. Current score - G.B.P = 24 / M.V. = 3 . . . With 6 minutes remaining 4th quarter . . WOO-HOO ! GO THE CHEESEHEADS !

Correction. That would be "words of wisdom, my friends!
Budman is red? I never... Was it his avatar that gave him away?
I know someone else, who is red... Julien! he moves to shut down all the fun threads in the middle of the night, banishes great people from being heard again, and refuses to give us cooler emoticons. Yeah?
Budman1 ain't red. Don't start nothin Wild_1. I just noticed though that you changed your avatar about the same time they started hiring for the positions...Hmmmm.
On another note, has any one sent a PM to Julian. He might be interested in this.
Budman,
Do you see any red in my avatar? But yours, God forbid, it's a good thing them chicks try to cover it up. Otherwise...
Don't forget the avatar's background, cadre Budman. Nonetheless, those are more than enough for me, my friend!
I only have a lense on my bike's tail light...
Comrade Wild1
Keep up with the good work of pointing out and eroding the hostile forces. Motherland together with labor and peasant classes around the world will forever be grateful to you. Remember: trust no one, as Flip, the Alien himself unwittingly admits.
Anatta we just have to humor Wild_1 till he gets back here and has a little re-education time. Speaking of the flag, you were right on your posted response. How did you know?
Budman1 wrote:Speaking of the flag, you were right on your posted response. How did you know?
Comrade Howie with his "thousand eyes and thousand ears" network informed me . Truth to be told, I had no idea! Knowing how the system works, I figured that it must be the most logical option!.
Anatta,
Don't you comrade me!!! I know nothing about your actions and those of Budman. You two just carry on with your passing of your great symbol to one another.
All I ask is that you two go easy on us, maybe not Saigonmonkey, hardly working and fun loving people. We mean no malice.
Wild_1 wrote:Saigonmonkey, hardly working and fun loving...
Hm...
I wonder where I left the email of Saigonmonkey's boss! He may want to know this.

They have been at this for years. Much of it is directed at the crazies in California and Texas.
They also put out RFQs for English language 'responders' for certain government agencies. The contract rate seemed more directed at VN people who didn't aim to get too rich.
Just makes VN like many other governments who call their 'agents' public relations companies.

HEY Anatta,
who are you calling an "ALIEN" ???
I've got one of the best ever reproductions of a forged birth certificates our scientists could produce !
Just watch yourself earthling !
You'll find yourself on the list for our experimentation on the human species ! (Hee-Hee-Hee)

aka Flip465 - "BUT I AM NAPOLEON I TELL YOU !"
aka GONZO - Interplanetary Invasion Commander (retired) - "Where's the KA-BOOM ? There was supposed to be an Earth shattering KA-BOOM ! Delays ! Always delays !"

The Vietnamese propaganda machine has always been on high gear, but as far as we know, this is the first time the government acknowledges the existence of paid forum participants, people who pretend to be common people like you and me engaging in discussions in diverse forums, like this forum, espousing and supporting the official party line and bashing whoever voicing a different opinion.
And quite a big group too!!
At least, PR people don't hide the fact that they are paid for the job and they don't mingle in forums like this.
Anatta wrote:At least, PR people don't hide the fact that they are paid for the job and they don't mingle in forums like this.
Not so. There are many PR companies that pop up all over and only with detailed investigation (they often use FB or Twit to generate accounts), especially in the political realm of national newspapers.
"[T]hey don't mingle in forums like this" - how do you know?
VNAT has let contracts in the past to 'improve' VN's reputation and appearance, particularly when travel writers start lifting up the carpets and telling people what they see.
If you run websites subject to VN Ministry registration, I assure you pressure is applied by way of 'advisories'.

So tell me, by quoting articles from reputed magazines or official announcements not rumors or hearsay, similar arrangements in the US, UK or any Western countries? and in such as scale: 1 paid forum participant per 7000 inhabitants (900 per Hanoi population of 6 400 000)?

Again, I am talking about forums, not articles or websites. So far, the common perception is forum participants are normal people participating on a hobby basis, thus normally voice their true opinion (at least, I am) while articles or newspapers (at least in Vietnam) are always biased because of gov intervention.
Dudes,
If my product is snake oil, of course, I will need to hire the salesmen and their elaborate schemes. How else will I be able to get others to buy my junks? But, as we all know, it is only a matter of time before I and my MLM strategies are exposed.
It's con game. There is nothing special about it, except the level pf desperation.
Anatta and Budman, I recommend that you get off the bandwagon now... You hear?
Wild_1 wrote:Anatta and Budman, I recommend that you get off the bandwagon now... You hear?
Yes, sir. Good night and good luck from Anatta.
