university or recruiter recommendations

Post new topic

llstreve

Hello,

I am thinking over my options for renewing my contract with my current recruiter and university.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  Could you recommend a good university where I could get a direct hire or even a good recruiter?

Thank you :)

aliweb

Try Yanbu Industrial College and Yanbu University College. They have several job openings.

You've got a point but here's the thing: a person has got to come to Saudia with a plan, a goal.  For example, 2 years and 'so-much' saved.  If you do it that way, working here is a real opportunity to get ahead.  You'll be able to make and save more than you ever could have in your native country.

So it comes down to this:  are you willing to live a less-than-enjoyable life for a few years in order to benefit the rest of your life?

But the PAY would be consistent with Riyadh.  So WHY go to Yanbu?
That's my point.  If she'd be making 4X more in Yanbu, it would definitely be worth it for a year.  But the salary is the same!

(And there are only openings for women at Yanbu University)

Riyadh and Jeddah are preferable for single females in everyway. There is no point of moving somewhere else (like Yanbu) if the offered renumeration isnt expenontially high.

PNU and International Embassy Schools should be the preferred choice for contract renewal.

@Alliecat and @malisohail

But the point is nobody knows whether salary in Yanbu is lower or higher than what she is currently earning. It doesn't hurt to apply and see what they are actually offering. Who knows they are offering twice or thrice the current salary.

malisohail

Dont worry Aliweb.
llstreve and many other aspirants reading this will apply for it :)
No one minds few more thousands of dollars in in paid out salary :)
