Will I have trouble taking legal dvds into HCMC without the cases?

I will be in HCMC soon and want to take some legal dvds with me. To save space I will leave the cases behind. Will I get stopped by customs coming in and out of HCMC, because I don't have the cases? Is it easy to tell the difference between real and fake dvds?

Incoming Customs? Stopping people? Not likely.

All they are interested in are weapons and books that will pervert peoples minds sexually or politically.

Bring copies, then you can keep the treasured valuables at home. Copying and piracy are honourable trades here and likely they have all the movies you like.

Yes - but if you bring copies, you wouldn't care. Always leave originals at home.
