Bringing housemaid from India

We are moving to Amman next month from USA. We are looking for housemaid. Is that possible to bring housemaid from India? one of the lady from our village is India is ready to come. Please let me know if any have experience and required procedure.

I have recently shifted from India to Jordan due to my husband's job. I am here only foe six months. I don't really know a lot of people here.
Also I worked in an NGO on the issue of child sexual abuse in India. I was wondering if there are any volunteering opportunities in Amman which I can explore...
