Residency permit how long?

I have requested an appointment to submit my residency application via email 3 days ago. So far I have not received a response. How long does it normally take? ( My partner sent his email a day before me, no answer so far). Is it possible to do it via telephone?
It is not a renewal, we are applying the first time.

it can take a couple of hours upto 2-3 weeks - i understand that theyre flooded with appointemnt calls and struggling to cope.

i dont think so - however some people have gone to the offices personally and am told they cant even make one there - they can only colect the forms.? unless anyone knows different

Hi, still no reply to our emails. Should I wait longer or try again? Someone told me that they went to the office in person and although it took a 2 hours wait but got an appointment for March. Is this really an option?

Hi pevi,

it seems to taking several weeks before they get back to you with an appointment and the appointments available now are around May.
