Just arrived in Cartagena

Hi there,

I've just arrived in Cartagena, and I'm really looking to talk to anyone who can give me information.

I'm here to spend time out writing/editing a book. I want to rent somewhere relatively inexpensive. It doesn't have to be in a tourist spot or central, but it does have to be somewhere relatively safe.

I've lived abroad, but am new here, and have some spanish. Just someone I could talk to, or a bar ex-pats go to or anything would be great.

I'm anticipating being here for anything up to six months.

I am from Ireland living in Greece ,my niece and family live in Murcia,her number is +34968151994,they have been in Murcia since 1998 and are a fine young couple with two kids.

Thanks so much. My family are actually based in Ennis (although from Dublin).

Unfortunately, I wasn't at all specific enough in my post about where I was! I'm in Cartagena, Colombia, not Cartagena, Múrcia.
