Emanuela Stomonyakova

Hello,

My name is Emanuela Stomonyakova and I am a lawyer in Sofia.
Here is some information about the current events in Bulgaria. At 20th of February the Premier resigned, because of protests inspired by the opposing party. Over the days in the protests some violence was provoked by the same party. So now we have a political crises. On the 25th to the premier in resignation Boyko Borisov was given the mandate to form a new government by the president Rosen Plevneliev. This is part of the constitutional procedure of forming a new government in which the president have the obligation to give the mandate to the first three parties and when each leader of them returns the mandate the president is obligated to form a caretaking government which acts until the elections are performed.
The elections in Bulgaria are going to be between the end of April and middle of May. The situation in the country is stable.
The banks are working in order as well as the administration and all institutions. Our law and economic system are intact.

Have a good evening!
