Welcome aboard @giacomoss63,

The rules to set up a business in KSA are quite complex.

You have to partner with some local businessman or company and that's the simplest available option.

Alternatively, you can invest through SAGIA (a govt body). There is a huge list of terms & conditions; but in my opinion, getting registered a company that has already been registered in a Eurpoean country is quite a good idea.

This must be your starting point.

And needless to mention, let a local legal consultant get you through the process.

There are different stakeholders /government bodies involved when investing in healthcare and Hospitals in Saudi (MOH, SAGIA, Labor Office, Local Municipalities, Civil Defense……).

SAGIA will grant license for a foreign investor to build a hospital only if the project is in one of the remote areas. Otherwise you need to partner with a Saudi doctor.

Note: Am sure that you heard about the SR200 M easy loan….let’s say it will be easier to convince Berlusconi to stop liking young women than process this loan. The problem is that lots of businessmen thought that they can take the loan and invest it somewhere else leading to government harden this process.

Culture things:

Inchallah: means it may happen or not all in Gods hand
Bokrah: means that I will do it tomorrow
Very important to know this two words, cos you will hear them a lot.

Cheers,
