Production Studio? USB Microphone? Help me record an Audiobook?

Hi all - I just published my first book - Quite happy about the response so far [Moderated: No free ad pls] - Bringing a bunch of copies over from the USA when a family member visits in a couple weeks. I wanted to do an audiobook version of it, and was wondering if anyone here had a reasonable USB microphone, that I could use (Borrow? Trade in Services? Rent?) for 2 days, or even better, a room that could act as a studio. I'm comfortable with soundboards and production rooms as that was an altar ego of mine, so just need access to the equipment. Am trying to make it moderately professional sounding, as opposed to plugging my headphones into the microphone jack and recording it in a tent, although that'd probably be an accurate depiction of how my life works. Appreciate any insight into if it's you, or anyone you know, or perhaps a spare room at a campus radio station or something of the like.
