Im going to reach Zurich at the end of june from Viet nam. please tell me about cost of living especial accomodation,food, and travell. May be i will live in rural area. what is the most notice in there?

I have lots of VNese friends in Zurich, some from SaiGon, some from HaNoi and other areas. My wife is from Dong Nai, age 28.
Some of them have regular Viet-Parties once or twice per month, lots of food, sometimes 10-20 people aged between 25-50yrs, some with kids, some are living here, others work or study...

If you need any info where to buy Viet food, let me know.

what are you doing in Zurich or how long do you stay?

Prices are depending on where you stay, you can find a single room from maybe CHF 400.-/month+, but I would budget CHF 1000.- or more if you need kitchen, bathroom etc...

Caphe is about CHF 3.50-4.50
Bia in a store is anything between CHF 1-3, depending on brand and size, in a bar you may pay CHF 4.50-7.- / 3.3dl
lunch meal in a restaurant can be between 13-20.- depending where and what. In a trendy place in Zurich, can be 20-30...

Public Transportation is good but has high costs.
