We are traveling along the pacific coast of Ecuador in May. What type of weather can we expect and what type of clothing should we pack? We are traveling with carry on luggage only. Thank you!

The weather is hot on the coast. Flip flops, shorts, t shirts are the norm. Rain jacket is nice to have also. A hat is a must for the sun beats on you. But dont forget one pair of warmer clothes, you never know when you will end up in the mountains. We made that mistake and flew into Quito and froze!
