Fair Game!?

Post new topic

biffy

What do all the male expatriates (!!?) born and bred in Egypt seem tot think that any woman on here is fair game and wants to know more Egyptian men, go out with them and learn Arabic??

Just a question because I have been bombarded again lately by this stupids!!

You can report them and if someone wants to be your friend, ignore or block them.

But you surely aren't going to believe I have just logged on and have more today than any other day.

I reply and ask if them if they would mind if my husband tagged along to the drink 'with a strange and beautiful girl (by the way think that's supposed to be me!!) -because I am sure he would like more new friends.

I spend my life blocking them - but I would just like to know where they get off really?

dmx87

Avoid them by creating an account which will not say you're a woman?
Seems like the easiest one...

dmx87..Why should we change who we are? I am 100% with Biffy..I am constantly getting messages from weirdo's when they can clearly see I am married and if seen some of my post's I am about to have a baby..Really I don't know what goes through the minds of these certain people..and when I joined this site I thought it was for EXPATS and all I am seeing is anything but. And most of these non expats are men..I am not saying all are bad and some are genuinely here to help and so on,But COME ON as Biffy said ..where do they get off...

Biffy !! All the time Complaining from Egyptian guys , I not agree with u that time although i know that they annoy women all the time especially expats.
If annoy u in streets & by phone that the problem that must complain about it but if annoy u in website like here  so it easy to do block to them.
Maybe u no need to know egyptian guys cos u married or no trust them or not need one to learn u arabic but at the other hand maybe other expats need that.
I not Defend about egyptians here but it only my opinion.
Best Regards.

[i]No most of them here to think of 3 things :
1- to act as he love any woman to get her heart then will be his way out of  Egypt
2- some thinks at any woman here is Rich and so getting money easy from her
3- thinking about the way to go bed with her

i know that you faced maybe those situations or by messages at Expat.com , as you can find all males here be Arabic tutors for foreigners

i know that its so disappointed that most of them is running after their lusts .

The above is from someone who would like to tell me why this happens on this and other expat websites - then he proceeds to tell me that he is there for me basically

!!!!!!

FYI - I know Arabic very well - I should know EGyptians very well (I am married to one!!) - I know EGypt and the Middle East pretty well (been my home for over 15 years).

So please I don't 'complain' about Egyptian guys - just stating the facts - and others on here will corroborate what I say.

Also surprising as to how a none-expat male EGyptian feels he must reply - again!!  Also please see the above post directly from my inbox - seems one of your countrymen knows himself and his fellow countrymen very well!!

of course there is a real helpful males and females being a good real friends , and that s what make the one see the difference between the real support and help and the (helping male show )

in the other side ,see a post from one old man expat asking for or about something , check by your self the reply , he is asking about a suitable health insurance and i rarely noticed a reply compared to that for a a girl or woman question or post and all respect for her..

but it just a real comparison between  priorities not between the  genders

so for god sake for males just know you are not unique by acting like the superhero and the guy who know everything about everything ,not for traditions or religion but for a simple rule ... respecting ..and being man , not needy one who like to see himself collecting even a word or a comment from a females , its old law man , respect the others privacy ,
and just balance the equation if u got me

and its not about Egyptians only ...

hope this make little difference

Because it brings a lot of unneeded attention?
In real world "sometimes" women have to dress the way they dont like,to bring less attention..on the internet its a different story...i see only 3 options here.
1.Do not register
2.Register under fake account
3.Teach all man respect,by setting up a date with the most annoying one and instead of you going on the date ask 2-3 of your or your husband big male friends to go and teach him how to behave.
If at least every 5th woman would do that, after a while the story about "fake date" will be spread and they will think twice before contacting someone)))Harsh one,but will work :)
Something like that is already happening in Russia, but its a different story.

Dmx Your number 3 solution just tells me your an idiot.Violence is not the answer and don't you think there is enough stuff going on here at the moment?? (would you like this done to you) I DON'T THINK SO.. As for not registering its every ones right to do so and come here to talk and get some help BUT without being harassed. Are people meant to know this will happen before they register? I DIDN'T..And NO I don't have to do it under a fake name as I am who I am and shouldn't have to be fake on the basis I won't be harassed..Really your comment has baffled me and just shows whats out there....

EHh...?i'm an idiot?Good luck in your research.I never said anything about violence..I said teach him how to behave ffs!Does behave sounds to you like beating someone up?or maybe killing?Your reply just proves how one close minded would think. And you will never find an answer or a solution...since you dont think of other possibilities..you see one old road ahead of you and you want to go straight forward pushing away all obstacles, thinking its the only road available, while there's many more clear roads sideways.(hint:its not ring road, dont try to figure it out)
Im outta here.

dmx87

You think by sending men on a wife's behalf to a fake date wont lead to something??Anyway we can go around and around with this but seems only end up back at the start..I stick by my comments and my replies..I didn't and don't intend to offend anyone but I will call it as I see it..

Maybe the forum can change the rules that private messaging is not allowed under 50 posts.

Hi guys,

2 things to remember :

> Expat.com is a website for expatriates. Of course everyone is welcome to participate, but I created the website for people who are living abroad / willing to live abroad.

> Expat.com is not a dating website.

--->> Any male reported for dating gets his account instantly deleted, without any warning. And if this situation persists, we'll change a few rules

waL-83

thx Julien first for the blog itself , and for  how much u care to take away the blog from the  dating  zone
i see u always  care for showing the main purpose of the blog and how much u know the conflict of both purposes , i checked a post a lot of exp. got really  helped   and a lot of locals  get a real knowledge , and everyone stand on other culture ,

but when it related to dating the main purpose of the blog will be vanished..

thank you Julien

ahmadm

you are too brave to say this after they mentioned the main purpose of the site. But i think you will be punished by them. becareful. by the, i'm interested and i'd like to meet. (u know 2 will be punished).
