Traffic Court Appearance Advice.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the Dubai Traffic Courts. I have to appear for a minor failing to stop at the scene of an accident. This happened a couple of years ago, but I was out not in the country between now and then and have stay until my court appearance is sorted and a conviction/fine is arranged. I have had my passport taken until this happens. The offence was minor as I wasn't even aware at the time that I had just scraped another car.

Can anyone give me some advice as to the likely outcome, paperwork I should take and what the kinda of procedure will be?
