US in summer

Hii

Im planning to go US this summer (aug 6 to sep 6). Ive never been there so i appreciate every information given which helps me to manage my trip.

I would like to visit New york, orlando, los angeles, las vegas and san deigo. How to sort my visit to them? How long should i spend in each state? Im going for tourism, shopping and having fun. We are a couple and the budget is 40K USD including everything.

Sounds fun. I'd do the East coast first then the West coast - end with the laid back people. lol. Also, if you're gonna go to Orlando, I'd get in some Miami time too. Why go to Florida and not hit up Miami?

Of those places, I've only been to one - Vegas. I always preferred travelling outside North America rather than explore my backyard.

Thats what i might do. East coast first. I dont know anyone went to miami thats why it wasnt added in my trip but might go if it sounds good. My plan is ny then fly to orlando then a fly to san deigo and rent a car to go to los angeles and vegas.
