My wife did her pre/post natal and birth at George's Memorial Medical Centre, which is located in the Lekki Phase 1 estate, just off Admiralty Way.

She had a straightforward, conventional birth, no complications other than an 11 hour labour.

The standard of care was excellent.

This was back in November 2007.

thank you!

so you wouldn't call me "mad" if I decided to give birth in lagos....:)...

Not at all. I don't remember the name of the doctor who made the delivery, but he was extremely professional throughout.

I'd suggest that the best thing to do (to put your mind at ease) would be to pay them a visit yourself.

Hi!

I am new to this site although not a newcomer in Lagos.

Hope i can learn from your experience :-)

Did you end up giving birth in Lagos at the end? How was your experience and which hospital did you use?

Thanks in advance!
