Hello everyone,

How is raising kids in Nigeria different from raising kids in your home country?

What are the activities that your kids seem to enjoy the most in Nigeria?

Do you feel that the country is "family-friendly"?

Do you recommend Nigeria as a good place to raise kids? Why or why not?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Priscilla

Dear Priscilla

Raising kids in Nigeria is not a big problem but, yes a little challenge due to following reasons -

1- Security concerns.
2- No transport owned by schools due to point number 1 as no school wants to take security responsibilities outside school campus and parents have to drop and pick the kids from schools on their own.
3- Less number of schools providing international syllabus.
4- Lack of higher study good schools.

All the above reasons can not be governed or improved by citizens or expats but by Government. Otherwise, Nigeria is a good place and family friendly in all manners.

Obviously, at every place in every nation and country, good and bad people will always be there.

I am in favour of improving the things for betterment.

With regards
