i am thinking of moving to dubai or abu dhabi and this is a matter i would like to know before to make it easy to decide.

Unmarried couples live together in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

As per the regulations in UAE, unmarried couples can't live together. It is illegal. Once caught, the couples will be jailed (don't know how many days or weeks) and then both will be deported to their own countries. Inspection is rarely heard...it is once in a blue moon. However, there are plenty of unmarried couples living together here. You just need to be careful.
