Hello,

I am trying to workout what fully furnished really means and what I need to ship.

So my question goes like this is fully furnished normally include:

Microwave
washer
fridge
stove
bed's
curtains
Kettle
toaster
couch
wardbrobes

etc..

What is normally missing?  can anyone guide me?

MOST of the list you quote is usually included - but personal linen, bedlinen quilts towels and the like....curtains MAY NOT BE TO YOUR TASTE -  also be aware that they use three types of curtains here tab top, rings and that webbing stuff for small hooks.

as for wardrobes - depends a lot on what you end up renting and in that you have the choice but if you like a lot of storage space for your spare bedding and towels etc - bring your own - owners can nearly always store their spare stuff....

Bring electric blankets for winter - not so much for the cold but to drive off the dampness from humidity levels.

We negotiated with our landlady as to what to leave for us and what not to. Also any remedials that needed doing.
It's all the little things that I think you need to remember, like a small domestic tool kit or small electrical items. Iron, ironing board a couple of electric fan heaters perhaps? I would think about those things you are used to having and using and could easily miss if without them or have to buy on Malta. I found it was a compromise between cost of shipping and value of items and availability on Malta.

must admit we had all those thngs you mentioned Red in ALL the flats we have ever rented...but to be honest some were not in the best of condition and we ended up buying our own so its a judgement call - but also bear in mnd that these things can be bought and delivered to malta via amazon and the likes.

Microwave is one thing you might not get. And a dryer but both are around £20 extra here. Bedding costs a lot here and  rugs.  I would check with the landlord/lady what they are leaving, be warned it might not be the best stuff! They don't usually put new in a rented place.
