Hi All,

I am currently holding an offer of 9500 RM per month and my work location is in Cyberjaya.

I would like to know about the cost of living in Malaysia.

I mean from rent perspective since I am planning to bring my family after 6 months.

I would like to know about the expenses involved so far.

a) Rental Expenses
b) Food Expenses (for 1) me alone and 2) myself and family)
c) Transport expenses (by train and bus)

Which area is near to Cyberjaya since I can travel for 20-30 mins in train or bus.

Please help since its quite urgent.

Thanks,
Vaibhav

Why not read the other 20 arguments we have had here between me and others lol.

Rent is to hard to say you need to visit and see!

By family if you have two teenage children then you don't  earn enough money to pay for schooling in Malaysia. If you mean a wife and a baby then you can live off your salary. Savings would be nil for a decent lifestyle to a bit if you are tight with money

If you have teenage children you will need to double your salary to pay school fees! So hard to help really. Food again depends a lot in you

Look like only the Indian got offers in this country because this forum is full of queries about offers for Indian... lol =))

Other people are just jobless... no offer at all... =))

yeah quite surprised myself. before starting argument 21 :-) pls inform us who is in ur family? kids ages particularly, if any. most of the indians coming on this forum have quoted salaries like urs. so there are plenty of discussions on this topic that u can check out.
