Extras on top of advertised rent?

Post new topic

I am looking for a modern clean apartment for a single man for about QR6-8,000. I see most apartments come with free TV and internet, but what other costs should I budget for that are "hidden" from the advertisers price?

For example, a 1 bed studio in the pearl is advertised as 7,500. How much will I realistically end up paying a month including all TV, internet, electric, water etc?

Thanks

Make sure they show you your actual apartment that you will move into not a show one - so that the finish (ie bathrooms, grouting etc is in reasonable condition) I know someone who was shown one "yours will be just like this"  turned out the backyard wasnt as roomy the bathroom tiling is extremely crooked and doesn't drain properly etc
Not quite what you asked but keep it in mind

Thank you Cherie, that is helpful as I didnt even think about that happening!
I will be spending up to a month in a hotel while I look for places, and I will only really have evenings to search and look, so i think im going to be busy!
