....I am looking for a place to go swimming preferably indoors I did get a message back from the The Golf and Tennis club in Cuenca they want almost 8-9k for membership. So I will pass them up...would like to know if any expats living in Cuenca have access to a pool where I can join that wont cost 8-9k  (lol) I swim here where I live almost everyday and I really do not want to give that up once I move there.  thank you!!

There's a public olimpic pool located at Coliseo. The Coliseo is part of the sport services provided by the goverment, for a small fee you can use the facilities but notice they have a schedule for swiming classes and activities.

You might also try the University of Cuenca. I'm pretty sure they have the pool facilities and that there is a basis upon which the public can use their pool.
