Hi all

Would like to seek for assistance here. Is true that someone with just a sigle name on the passport will have his visa application rejected? For example the name is just "Sarah" on the passport.

I came to know about it when visa was rejected through emirate airlines afterwhich went down to
indonesia  consulate, appealled and yet rejected by immigration. Their advise is to add name in their passport back in their country but time is constraint as her flight due next week.

So anyone experiences this before and willing to share the procedures. Thanks!

Airline ticket booking requires a first name and last name.  You can add your family name, surname, parent's name or any such as a last name.  The passport should never have been written in a single name, it is a blunder.  You have to find a way to get it rectified at the Embassy on some emergency or fast track basis, or delay the travel; no other way.

And name in ticket should be same as in Passport.
