Looking for suggestions on accomodations

Post new topic

dvehlhaber

Hi, everybody!  My wife and I are looking to visit Corozol, Belmopan and the Placencia penninsula on a trip in mid-October of 2013 over a two week period.  Any suggestions on where to stay in these 3 cities?

Hello dvehlhaber,

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

I have moved your topic on the Belize forum for better visibility.

You may want to check out the housing in Belize section as well.

Thank you,
Christine

You don't mention what you are willing to pay. I can suggest a number of places in Corozal all have different prices.

Plus you can google Belize hotels by cities. That's how I found the Hotel I stayed at when I first arrived.

Somewhere in the range of $65 USD per night to $85 USD per night would be great!  Thanks for replying.

One World in Placencia..$49.00 us

Well in Corozal...that price range covers all the hotels I know of here.

There is Gringo Row a nice place called Tony's, they serve food for Expats. Plus there are other hotels there.

Maya you can work out a good deal for multiple nights cheap. Plus it is close to everything. Sea Breeze, I have heard they have a restaurant there also, but I haven't been there.

You will find every hotel in Corozal will be budget friendly for you.

I stayed at Maya my first week 7 days for 250US, then I rented an apartment from them. But if you want more luxury, Tony's would probably be the place.

Thanks, Rich!  I really appreciate it.

Central location in town. Corkers, our favourite restaurant in Belmopan, on site.
