If your dedicated to pursue your hobby to a higher level, i would suggest get a DLSR. A nikon D40x or D5000 is a good buy for entry level photography. There is a big camera shop in Dhahara, just near the ring road. They are selling DLSR cameras. Price range for D40 is from 600-800LD and 1100-1300LD for D5000.
