Hello!

My name is Victor. As you can see in my profile photo, I look Chinese. But, I am as Canadian as one could get - I don't speak a word of Mandarin, and friends tell me, I say the word 'eh?' a lot.

I got here yesterday. I am here to conduct academic research into Canada-China energy relations. But first, I need to research some friends who can show me the ropes in Beijing, and are looking for good laughs.

If anyone out there has the luxury of time and is interested in having coffee (cold or hot) and doing touristy things, it would be great to meet up.

Thanks for reading. Wish you a nice day.
