Irish and moving to Abu Dhabi!!

Hi everyone.

I have just been offered a Teaching job in a private school in Abu Dhabi starting in August 13.I'm 23 and an Irish female. I'm wondering what its like to live in Abu Dhabi and are there many young Irish teachers like myself going over? Would love to hear about other peoples experiences as Im abit nervous to go alone.

Don't be!All over the world can be good or bad people.But if u won't have a salary more than 6000 aed,a least,consider this opportunity a bad one.U cannot survive with a small salary,life is very expensive here.Best wishes.

I'm in the exact same boat as you! Got a job in a private school as well and am a bit nervous, but I'm sure we'll be fine! Seems to be lots of Irish and English expats out there! It's very exciting!
