Where/how to pay the new road fee

Anyone know the answer to this? Is this the yellow insurance card you get from petrol filling stations?

I'm sure if Jaitch was still posting here, he would either know, or would find the answer for us. But I guess we ran him off...

That said I'm sure most of the information is available on the multitude of sites he moderates.... no doubt because there is no other posters on there.....

@jeff-vn: You can pay the fee at any local Vehicle Registration Office.

We have two cases:
+ For car: You should pay the road fee when you check again your car at Vietnam register station (when your document was expired). If your document's car still valid, they not penalty in this case. The fee for car (up to 9 seats) around 1,500,000VND per year. Only you must pay every year.
+ For motobike: In HCMC: they not yet collect also penalty.
