Are there any support groups to assist people with divorce issues, distance child care issues here in the Saigon area. My ex is working overtime trying to make me angry. She recieved the lion share of the property and I pay far more child support than legally required.

Ancientpathos,

Where do you think you are, North America?

You are in Vietnam, where our number is few and far in between.  Your best bet is the embassy.  You might want to check with the AmCham guys in Saigon as well.  I am not too sure about their willingness to get into personal matters; they are more of a business bunch.

But if you are really stuck between a rock and a hard place, feel free to drop me a line.  I do shuttle back and forth, Vietnam and southern California, quite a bit.  I also have families and friends, who fly in and out of Vietnam often.  On certain issues and in certain areas, I might be able to help.

The best that I can offer you is try to do my best.  Try to be early, though.

Best,
Howie

Thanks Howie,
I think I will just send her lots of pictures of me with younger woman.  May not solve any issues but may make me feel better.

This will enrage her even more which means she might fight even more fiercely to take away all the money you spend on these women .I kinda like your attitude in a weird way though, at least you are not pretending, deluding yourself or having some crappy excuses, judging by your other posts, about the way the game is played here.

Come on, Ancientpathos, you know better than barking back at a dog.  Don't let anger get the better part of you, man.

Just hate the way she uses my son to yank my chain.  There is no answer that will stop her behavior. I just need to find a level of acceptance.  My son will aways be my son.  I just spent 3 weeks with him while his mother was visiting her family. I realized while I was there that i proably would not be returning as often to see him due to the way my ex behaves where I am there.  My son does not need to be involved in his mother acting out.  Thinks for the words of wisdom....
