Breastfeeding and baby wearing

How frowned-upon would it be as a new mother to volunteer at a nonprofit office part-time or attend classes at Bahrain university and to wear my baby against me in a wrap throughout the day? Babies who are worn rarely cry, I don't want to leave a newborn with a stranger, and it would make nursing much easier. Women at top graduate schools in the US wear their babies at times, as did a judge on the queen's bench in Canada. Where do women usually go for breastfeeding?
