emigrating to malta

hi all.me and my other half are considering emigrating to Malta,her mother who is maltese and her father is ex army,which makes my girlfriend half maltese.have been living in malta for the last eight years,we are getting married next year,and hopefully getting the marriage blessed when we visit Malta next year.My question is,do i/we still need work/resident docs to emigrate?

If yuo are EU passport holders then a work permit is not required.

You will need to register for e-residency eventually (after 90 days) but its best to apply asap as its darned slow - 7 months and hundreds of people still havent got them. see this site
