Going to Turkey soon. Need help with accommodation and friends

Hello everyone,
I and a friend of mine (a Canadian) are coming to Turkey, Ankara in a couple of weeks. We're mainly looking for jobs as English teachers. My friend has a better chance since he has TEFL and about 10 years of experience.
We need friends with some time to spare to help us navigate and get to know the city. We need help finding a reasonably priced apartment for 2 weeks (in case both or either of us cant find a job, if we do we're staying!) And we want to be introduced to the Turkish language.
