Without adding to the 'school' debate - my humble view

I won't ramble because I think the point I want to make is quite simple.  Back in March there was a general election and Labour were returned to power after 15 years in opposition.  Now, most of the people on here will not have seen or experienced a change of government in Malta but believe me it is wholesale job losses.  The people holding jobs in public office soon find themselves on the scrap heap and replaced with 'Labour' thinking/activist followers, departments change, political bureaucracy (internal and external) changes.....even the diplomatic appointments overseas are under threat.  The place is, once again, in turmoil, so people really need to persevere with this complete upheaval.  My 'other family' were telling me all about it recently and even the Maltese are fed up with some of the changes.

Everyone can pontificate about rights, rules, EU, procedures etc, however, during the next year expect more of the same until everything settles down again.

Just an opinion like.

And as an observer I will agree with all you write.
After 15 years of one party the PN governing the change to the PL is bound to make ructions.
They do like to put their own politically affiliated staff in post though to be fair, Joseph Muscat wants to change that (if he is allowed to).
Political affiliation isn't just associated with public workers either and it is known for staff to be moved around within companies depending upon their political views. Politics is huge here and of course everyone has an opinion :)
