hi, can anyone tell me a company who will collect my household waste from my house in Kileleshwa/Lavington area? I assume there is no such thing as a Nairobi City Council organised collection? Also, what about recycling. I try to separate before putting into rubbish bags so the guys who go through the rubbish can easily get plastic or glass etc .. is there an organised operation? Or a company that says they will recycle your household waste. THanks in advance.

check out garbage dot com online or ask a watchman outside what company collects around that neighborhood. they do tend to dorminate an area.
Trouble with most of them, they all go and dump the same in poorer areas such as dandora, kibera etc meaning your garbage ends up affecting other people. Not your fault, just that the city council and Nairobians are doing little to address that and consider efficient recycling plants.
