Moving next week

Hi everyone,

hope you're all keeping well. I am so happy I stumbled across this site. I had a look through the different categories and topics and there seems to be a wealth of information here. Phew.

Now, here is my background: I will be moving to Malta next Tuesday. This will be the first time for me to ever set foot on the island and I am a little nervous I have to admit. I have a job already, hence the move; in St. Julian's. I am put up in a hotel for a few days but would like to find my own place as soon as possible and have arranged an appointment with a letting agent who was recommended to me. Does anyone have any suggestions where to live or where not to live? I read that Paceville is meant to be party central, so I'd rather avoid that.

Also, I am also looking for a place to work out in. I am looking for a place that offers both personal training and group exercise like trx, crossfit, boxercise or any other general fun group stuff. Obviously I found some places online like donross and fitness holistic and bootcamp and what no. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

I am of course also looking to meet some people, so hopefully I will get to join one of the meetings here soon. :-)

Looking forward to moving to Malta and getting some replies here.

Cheers,
Ellen :D
