Hi,

lets talk about job opportunities in Rio de Janeiro.

What are the top hiring sectors?

And according to you, what are the most promising job sectors, which will keep creating jobs in Rio de Janeiro?

Currently with the two major events (world cup and Olympics) coming up in 2014 and 2016 there are likely to be a lot of opportunities in the tourism and events organizing sectors.

Other popular sectors would be Oil (duh) and online stores.

Problem is that too many people still seem to think that they can come to Brazil (just show up) and get a job... It's really not that simple. Also salaries are not as high as people expect.

I heard that there are plans to make it easier for foreigners to come and work here... wait and see.
