Borer bug killer in VN

Post new topic

Anybody found a good insecticide or natural deterrent to get rid of borer bugs?
I've tried many insecticides here, ( although many were passed their use by dates, ( buyer beware ), ), I've even sprayed this stuff undiluted, onto the affected wood/tree, but no luck.  I've been replacing the wood in my bed , ( with steel ),  as the Borer , ( click, click , click ), start to annoy me.

Tobacco juice.
If you're a non smoker, then visit the in laws.
Collect their butts.Strip off paper and filters.Put that into a jar.Add water(volume depending on quantity needed and butts supplied).
You'll want the concoction thick enough that it has the dark yellow/brown colour, but if using indoors, not so concentrated as to cause offending odours. Not that it smells so bad,it's the taste that that gets vermin moving.
Unless they're smokers themselves. Then all you need is a saucer of beer,a couple of old biscuits and it's insect party time.
