Hello All,
I was planning to visit Thailand in December.
Have things settled down now or should one wait
until early next year?
Been there, was hoping to enjoy Dec. there.
Regards.

I wasn't aware there was a problem and I live here.

If you mean the recent demonstrations in Bangkok-they are easy to avoid and certainly not aimed at foreigners.

Thailand is open for business and there are plenty of tourists here.

Yes, I meant the demonstrations.
Nice to know, Thailand is buzzing.
Will continue to make plans.
Many thanks.

If you avoid the demonstration sites which are isolated to certain areas you should be fine. However, tourists should know that some of those demonstration sites are close to the main tourist attractions such as grand palace, khao san, mbk, etc.
