I am going back to my home country Philippines. Where's the best to retire?

I know somewhere that's far from the cities but please don't like those area where there's deprivation of telecommunication. Like smart said to have the widest coverage but my friends has the worst nightmare of service ever have.

any place?

Davao City is a very nice place to retire. Traffic can be very busy but taxi,s are most times easy to get. Locals use Jeepnies but you are very squashed in.
