Cultural event in Jeddah Balad, deadline to buy tickets midnight

I've seen the No Reservations : Jeddah episode several times after it first aired in the USA.  It certainly gives a very positive impression. Tony was genuinely surprised and the whole show seemed rather unscripted although  a lot of production work into  the entire show to cover all the ground he did for that episode.

It's on you tube but seeing it at this event could be a cool,icebreaker to met and greet folks...

Haha, yeah I searched on YouTube a couple of hours ago and found the whole episode.  Anyway, aside from the screening, the main highlight is the traditional Hijazi dinner... that should be nice considering it will be in Balad.  Still undecided.  Don't really want to go alone.  Asked my friends, but since they are all teachers and are currently busy with writing reports and stuff, they apologetically declined.

Having second thoughts about dinner as well, not about the quality/taste, but about shelling out that much money just for the dinner.  I am sure I can have similar food in Balad for around SR. 50-75.
