planning to go back to Ecuador

Hi,

My wife and I are planning to go back to Ecuador, off and on, starting next summer. Our planned itinerary is as follows:

1- leave USA and stay in Ecuador July 15, 2014 (180 days or less) to Dec 15, 2014
2- leave Ecuador and stay in USA Dec 15, 2014 (30 days or less) to Jan 15, 2015
3- leave USA and stay in Ecuador Jan 15, 2015 (90 days or less) to April 15, 2015
4- leave Ecuador and stay in USA April 15, 2015 (90 - 120 days - till sale of home)
5- leave (approximately Aug 1, 2015) USA for permanent residency in Ecuador!

Please help me with my timeline in regards to what we need to do passport and visa wise.

You might want to review that agenda with your nearest consulate or a visa/immigration attorney.

I believe (but I'm not swearing to anything) that once you use up your six-month visa, you must stay out of the country for six months before you can return.
