Bringing loved ones here

Post new topic

RM

Am in need of guidance of how to bring my son who is over 18 here to the U.K. any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have been living here since July of 09 and I am a resident by marriage here only not a citizen, if I can't figure out a way to bring my son other than on a visit passport then I might not make it to citizen as I would miss him too much.

Thanks,

bolissa

You might not have to wait until you become a citizen. Once you are granted Permanent Leave to Remain status, you may be able to sponsor your son's Settlement Visa. Or perhaps your husband can sponsor him. I'd look up some Immigration advisors who might be able to let you know what your options are.
