It doesn't mean very much, these statistics.
Anybody living in London or Amsterdam will feel much more crowded then someone living in Mgarr.
But nice to see these figures.

You must not see Malta as a "country", in fact it not really is ... ;-)
Considering Malta as a city with 400k citizen and the 68 villages are it's 68 districts ... and everything comes clearer ;-)

And where a country that is small in area is compared to a country that is large in area there will always be apparent 'crowding'. That is why it is important to compare comparative available areas, no matter how defined, to make any sense.
