American Support Group In Thailand?

I currently live in North Bend, Nebraska, USA. I'm really considering moving to Thailand after my son graduates from High School in the next year. I was wandering if there were Americans who live there or English speaking people who would help Expats get used to the country and culture. I would like to pursue employment there. I have a BS Degree in (Computer Science) a BS Degree in (Management Information Systems) and a MSM ( Master of Science in Management) with a concentration in business. It would be really nice to have some people there who might help me navigate the pitfalls/ Do's and dont's with Thailand and help with Visa's and work permits and so forth, currency exchange and that kind of stuff.
